Positive and Negative Impacts Of Tourism

Positive impact on economy:
  1. Open employment opportunities for local residents in tourism
  2. Encouraging someone to be entrepreneurial
  3. Increase people's income and also government revenue
  4. Providing economic benefits to hotels and restaurants.

Negative impact on economy:

  1. Increasing inflation and selling prices of land become expensive
  2. Seasonal production causes a low rate of return on initial capital
  3. regional inequality and worsening income inequality between several community groups
  4. Loss of local community control over economic resources.




Positive impact on social:

  1. Increased social knowledge and understanding of local communities
  2. Promotion of the reputation of local culture in the eyes of the international community
  3. Introducing values ​​and practical matters
  4. Rediscover local crafts, performance arts and cultural rituals

Negative impact on social:

  1. Decreasing the value of social culture
  2. Increased tension between the lifestyle of foreigners and local communities
  3. New patterns of local consumption




Positive impact in the environment:

  1. Improved management of the tourism area
  2. Building better facilities and infrastructure
  3. Increasing the attention of the government and the community towards environmental hygiene efforts
  4. More environmental sustainability
  5. Obtain added value for existing utilization & environment
Negative impacts in the environment:

  1. Causes pollution of water, air, sound and land
  2. Excessive exploitation of biological sources
  3. Infrastructure overload, such as traffic jams
  4. The occurrence of garbage and waste buildup that damages the surrounding ecosystem
  5. Environmental damage has occurred, either because of the construction of tourism infrastructure and facilities, or because of irresponsible visitors.

An Analysis of Rhyme Patterns in Fire and Ice Poetry - Robert Frost

Fire and Ice (1920) by Robert Frost Some say the world will end in fire, Some say in ice. From what I've tasted of desire I hold with those who favor fire. Analysis: The types of rhymes are: - The first stanza consists of 4 lines, has a continuous rhyme (rima terus) with a-a-a-a pattern. - The second stanza consists of 5 lines, has a cross rhyme (rima silang) with a-b-a-b-a pattern.      This poem is also included in the Masculine Rhyme type because it has the same sound in the last syllable.      The rhyme scheme in this poem in the first stanza is Monorhyme, all lines in the verse end with the same rhyme. While, the second stanza is called Limmerick.
